Deogarh: On the occasion of Republic Day held yesterday students of all the schools in Deogarh district pledged to build a flourishing nation.
The celebrations were held under the guidance of District Collector Sudhansu Mohan Samal, where the students took oaths that will eventually build their lifestyle and the country too.
The students pledged to carry on with good deeds such as cleanliness of their surroundings and remain hygienic. They also pledged to banish open defecation, be laborious and listen to their elders.
The nation will be proud of them if they say no to narcotics and plant trees for the protection of ecology.
The 71st Republic Day was celebrated with much gaiety and patriotic fervour across Odisha on Sunday. This day is celebrated every year to commemorate the Indian Constitution replacing the Government of India Act (1935) as the governing document of India.
