Puri: Senior IAS officer Ranjan Kumar Das on Tuesday took charge as the chief administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration.
After joining as a permanent administrator, he visited the temple on Tuesday and offered prayers to the Holy Trinity. He said that he is privileged to get an opportunity to serve Lord Jagannath.
“I got such an important task to serve God. It is only due to the blessings of Lord Jagannath”, Das told media.
He assumed the office ahead of the Annual Ratha Yatra.
He said that he would work in coordination with everyone. However, the newly-inducted chief administrator said that he would do the job in a full-fledged manner.
