Rajnish Kumar appointed new SBI Chairman, to take over on October 7


New Delhi: Rajnish Kumar has been appointed Chairman of India’s largest state-run lender State Bank of India for a period of three years.

Arundhati Bhattacharya’s term as SBI chairman ends this week. Kumar currently holds the post of Managing Director at SBI.

Rajnish Kumar to succeed Arundhati Bhattacharya as SBI Chairman on October 7.
