Bhubaneswar: Like every year, the Raj Bhavan Garden will be opened for school children and the general public from January 5 to 19 between 2.30 p.m. to 5 p.m including Sundays and holidays. Odisha Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal has given the necessary permission in this regard.
School children up to Class-X can visit the garden between 6th January 2020 to 21st January 2020 except on Sunday between 8.30 am and 10 am. For this, the school authorities should send their requests to ADC to Governor or ACP, Raj Bhavan, Security.
For a hassle-free entry into the garden in scheduled timeline Raj Bhavan has developed a Mobile App in name of ‘Rajbhavan Odisha’ which is available in the Google Play Store for Android users. Using this mobile app, visitors can generate QR Code entry pass on their smartphones which will be scanned at Raj Bhavan gate for hassle-free entry. However, the manual entry system through Registers will continue to be available near the Raj Bhavan Reception Centre.
The visitors are requested not to carry tiffin box, food packets, water bottle and camera with them. The visitors are also requested to keep the garden clean during their stay and cooperate with the personnel on duty. Raj Bhavan garden wears a colourful look and eagerly awaits to welcome visitors of all ages.
Lush green lawn, Deer Park, Musical Fountain, Open Aquarium, Bird Enclosure are among the main attractions for visitors.
