Rahul Gandhi criticizes centre over ‘unplanned lockdown’
New Delhi: The Opposition is up in arms over the central government’s “failure” to combat the outbreak of dreaded coronavirus.
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi trained his gun at the Centre over the rising caseload despite the strict lockdown.
Gandhi said the Narendra Modi dispensation has failed to win the battle against coronavirus “in 21 days” as he declared in March.
The country on Saturday surpassed the one crore infections mark countrywide since coronavirus pandemic surfaced in January this year.
The Congress leader said the unplanned lockdown did not manage to ‘win the battle in 21 days’ as the Prime Minister claimed. The dreaded coronavirus destroyed millions of lives in the country, both mentally and financially.
