Pulwama Terror Attack: CUO students pay tributes, take out march

Koraput: The hostel inmates of Central University of Orissa (CUO) on Friday held a candlelight march to pay tributes to the CRPF jawans killed in the Pulwama terror attack.

Hundreds of inmates of both boys and girls hostels of the varsity participated in the candlelight march taken out from the Academic block to the Guesthouse inside the varsity’s permanent campus at Sunabeda. They paid tribute to the brave hearts.

“I request our Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take strict action against Pakistan and hit them hard so that they would not dare to enter our territory and even think of targeting our soldiers ever again,” Roumya Ranjan Das, a final year MBA student said.

Similarly, Sai Santosh Lathi, an inmate of boys hostel, echoed the same sentiment and termed the incident very shameful. The entire nation is with the brave families of the martyrs, he added.
