Dehradun: Pulwama martyrs’ memorial will be built with soil from their homes to honour the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers.
They were martyred in the terror attack on February 14, 2019. A memorial is being built in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Soil is being collected from the homes of the CRPF martyrs which will be used in the construction of the memorial.
It may be recalled that forty CRPF personnel were killed on February 14, 2019, when their convoy was blown up by a suicide bomber on the Srinagar-Jammu highway in Pulwama district.
The Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) had claimed responsibility for the attack and had also released a video clip of the suicide bomber.
