Priyanka Chopra in list of “25 Women Changing the World”


Mumbai: Quantico actress Priyanka Chopra has been placed in the “25 Women Changing the World” list by People Magazine.

With this, International icon Priyanka Chopra has joined the new wave of inspiring activists along with Sophia Bush, Sarah Ullman-Film maker, Lena White (Advocate for LGBT community).

Priyanka has worked with UNICEF as a global Goodwill Ambassador for around 12 years. During this, she had visited places like Zimbabwe and slums of Mumbai in India. She recently visited the refugees in Bangladesh to spread the message of children’s education.

In a statement, she said, “The field trips are the most special, because you meet incredible kids and survivors. That has been one of my joyous moments, being able to help advocate children’s rights and children’s welfare around the world. That moved me so much in being able to go to places where these kids have no voice or no one listening to them, and actually shedding light on that”.

Priyanka Chopra will be next seen in Hollywood movie Isn’t It Romantic which will hit the screens on the Valentine’s Day, next year. It also stars Rebel Wilson, Liam Hemsworth and Adam Devine. She was also roped in for The Sky Is Pink starring Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim.
