President Kovind, PM Modi greet nation on 73rd Independence Day


New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the people of the nation on the occasion of 73rd Independence Day on Thursday.

On the occasion, the Prime Minister unfurled the tricolour at the Red Fort and addressed the nation. Yesterday, President Ram Nath Kovind addressed the nation on the eve of the 73rd Independence Day.

President Kovind in his address to the nation expressed confidence that the recent changes made in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh would be of immense benefit to those regions.

He also congratulated voters for their participation in the 17th general elections, which he called the largest democratic exercise in human history.
