Bhubaneswar: A five-month pregnant woman was found dead in mysterious circumstances at her house in Balianta area on the city outskirts last night.
The deceased has been identified as Suchismita of Nayagarh district.
Suchismita had married one Subir Kumar Muduli of Jajpur district in December 2019. After their marriage, the couple was staying in Pahala area.
According to reports, an argument ensued between Suchismita and her husband Subir over some issues. Following this, Suchismita called her father and complained about it. After a while, Subir telephoned his in-laws and told that their daughter has locked herself in the room.
When her parents reached the house, they found their daughter dead.
On being informed, police reached the spot and seized the body for post-mortem.
