Bhubaneswar: In view of demands from passengers, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to run Bhubaneswar-Bangalore-Bhubaneswar Prashanti Special and also to restore Guntur-Visakhapatnam-Guntur Special.
In view of safety-related modernization work between Donakonda-Gajellakonda Stations over South Central Railway jurisdiction, Prashanti Special was decided to run on diverted route via Kacheguda-Gudur-Renigunta-Melpakkam-Katpadi-Jolarpettai from 29th March to 1st April, 2021 and Guntur-Visakhapatnam-Guntur Special was cancelled.
08463/08464 Bhubaneswar-Bangalore-Bhubaneswar Prashanti Special will run on normal route w.e.f. 30th March, 2021 from both the directions.
Similarly, 07239/07240 Guntur-Visakhapatnam-Guntur Special from Guntur w.e.f. 2nd April and from Visakhapatnam w.e.f. 3rd April, 2021 will be restored till further advice.
