PM Modi, President Biden to further peace in Indo-Pacific region

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoken to US President Joe Biden for the first time after the latter assumed office last month.

They discussed a host of regional matters to boost bilateral relationship between the nations. Sources said both the leaders shared priorities during the conversation.

Observers said both the leaders are looking forward to consolidating strategic partnerships to further peace and security in the Indo-Pacific region and beyond.

PM  Modi tweeted his best wishes to the US president. They agreed to further their cooperation in matters relating to climate change and environmental degradation.
