New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the Motihari-Amlekhganj (Nepal) petroleum pipeline through video conferencing here today.
Modi called the project “a symbol of our bilateral relations”. He reiterated that it will help to enhance the security of the region and “substantially cut down on transit costs”.
Speaking on the occasion, Modi remembered the dreadful earthquake that devastated Nepal in 2015 and also appreciated how the nations grew since then.
He also confirmed that India”s commitment to helping Nepal for developmental works according to its own priorities.
