New Delhi: Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi departed for his two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday to inaugurate the first Hindu temple in the country.
Modi is scheduled to address the ‘Ahlan Modi’ event at Zayed Sports City Stadium today as part of his two-day official visit to the UAE. This marks his seventh visit to the UAE since 2015 and the third in the last eight months.
The strong ties between the two nations have been further emphasized by the special bonding between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. A significant bilateral meeting between the two leaders is scheduled, along with PM Modi’s participation in the World Government Summit 2024.
In his departure statement, PM Modi said he is looking forward to further advancing India’s comprehensive strategic partnership with the United Arab Emirates during his two-day visit to the Gulf nation.
