PM Modi, CM Naveen Wish People On Good Friday

Bhubaneswar: On the eve of Good Friday, PM Narendra Modi and Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik greeted countrymen for Good Friday. The Prime minister and Odisha Chief minister took to Twitter in order to express their views.

In his message on Good Friday, the Prime Minister said the day reminds us of the struggles and sacrifices of Christ.

“Good Friday reminds us about the struggles and sacrifices of Jesus Christ. A perfect embodiment of compassion, He was devoted to serving the needy and healing the sick,” Modi tweeted.

Odisha CM took to the microblogging site and wrote: “Offer my solemn prayers on the auspicious occasion of Good Friday. May Lord Jesus Christ’s sacrifice enlighten us to follow the path of peace, love, compassion and forgiveness.”
