New Delhi: Congress president Rahul Gandhi said none can save Prime Minister Narendra Modi from facing the investigation on Rafale deal.
The entire nation will know “without a shadow of doubt” that he has taken Rs 30,000 crore of people’s money. He alleged the money was given it to his “friend” Anil Ambani.
Talking to media outside Parliament on Tuesday Gandhi said the CBI director was removed at 1 AM as he was start an investigation into the Rafale jet deal.
He said the Prime Minister Modi and his government cannot run away from an investigation into the deal.
The Congress president’s remarks come after the apex court reinstated CBI Director Aloke Verma on Tuesday.
The Centre has divested him of his powers after asking to go on leave. The court has restrained him from taking any policy decision till the CVC probe into corruption was over.
