PM Modi asks people to take lockdown seriously, save families


New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to the people to take the lockdown seriously and save themselves and families.

PM Modi asked respective state governments to ensure the people to follow rules and obey laws for them and for the society.

The PM tweeted: “Some people are still not taking the lockdown seriously. Please save yourself and your families, follow the instructions seriously. I request respective state governments to ensure the people follow rules and obey laws”.

The Union government on Sunday announced that all passenger trains, and inter-state bus and Metro rail services would remain suspended till March 31.

The Centre has announced that 80 districts in 17 states where coronavirus cases have been detected will be put under complete lockdown. A number of state governments too announced complete lockdowns in their respective territories.
