PM blasts Opposition for questioning army operation

Kushinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday blasted opposition for questioning Indian Army’s operation in Shopian while voting was underway.

Addressing a rally in Kushinagar Modi said  terrorists were killed by our Army in Kashmir. But, some people are worried as to why did Modi kill the terrorists when voting is underway.

He asked would the jawans take permission from the Election Commission before killing the terrorists.

The BJP’s poll campaign is centred on nationalism and national security, the opposition said and added that reference as “my soldiers” is a poll code violation.

It may be recalled that the Election Commission had earlier took notice of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, BJP president Amit Shah and Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi’s statement for referring to the Indian Army as “Modi ji ki sena”.

The poll body had admonished Naqvi and Adityanath on this matter.
