The practicals would be held from January 18 to 25 while the theory exams would be conducted from March 6 to 28, the official said.
Speaking on the announcement, Chhatoi said the decision of the examination dates and time was taken with the consensus of all members during this first meeting regarding examinations preparedness review.
“These are preliminary preparations, we will subsequently release the detail time table,” he said.
Asked what the necessary arrangements were made to curb malpractice and stop question paper leak, Chhatoi said “There is no question of any leak neither any misconduct during the exams since preparations on strong rooms, squads and control room for coordination of the exams and preservation of the question paper under strict surveillance is being undertaken,”
“Similarly, questions have also been designed with different sets like A,B,C,D with jumbled up question orders so cheating during the exams is almost near to impossible,” he added.
