Bhawanipatna: Over 40 persons were injured after a pick-up van they were travelling in overturned on the Biju Expressway near Pipla village in Dharamgarh block of Kalahandi district on Friday.
According to reports, the incident occurred while the ill-fated vehicle was on its way to Dharamgarh from Palaspani village carrying labourers for reaping crops. When the driver of the Pick-Up Van lost control over the wheel and turned turtle. Subsequently, over 40 persons sustained critical injuries.
Meanwhile, all of them are admitted to Dharamgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital.
