Phulbani Shivers Under Intense Cold Wave, Records Minimum Temp 3.6 degC

Bhubaneswar: While the India Meteorological Centre predicted that the cold wave weather condition in Odisha will continue to prevail for the next two to three days, Phulbani records minimum temperature last night.

According to the Met department, the administrative headquarters of Kandhamal district recorded the lowest temperature of 3.5 degree Celsius in the last 24 hours.

Daringbadi, popularly known as the Kashmir of Odisha, in Kandhamal district is the second coldest place in the State recording a minimum temperature of 4.5 degree Celsius.

Reportedly, no large change in minimum night temperature during the next 2-3 days. However, the minimum temperature will be below normal by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius
