Phase IV poll campaigning: Nitin Gadkari to visit Bhadrak today


Bhubaneswar: After the third phase polls in Odisha, campaigning for the Phase IV polls in Odisha has intensified with several political leaders visiting the state.

While Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday visited Kendrapara and Balasore districts for election campaigning, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari is scheduled to visit Odisha today.

During his visit, Nitin is scheduled to visit Bhadrak district wherein he will attend a public gathering at Barahapur College ground and Hata ground under Banta block.

Similarly, BJP Chief Amit Shah will visit Mayurbhanj’s Moroda and Jajpur’s Sukinda for the campaigning on April 27.

On the other hand, Congress President Rahul Gandhi will visit Odisha on April 26. He will attend a public gathering at Balasore.

While 52 candidates will contest in six Lok Sabha seats-Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara and Jagatsinghpur district, 346 candidates will contest in 42 Assembly seats in Odisha.
