Petrol, diesel prices stable on Tuesday


New Delhi: State-run oil marketing companies on Tuesday kept the retail prices of petrol and diesel unchanged across major cities of the country.

In national capital Delhi, a litre of petrol today costs Rs 75 while diesel costs Rs 66.04 per litre, no change compared with Monday’s price.

In Kolkata, people have to shell out Rs 77.67 for a litre of petrol while diesel costs Rs 68.45 per litre, as per data available with Indian Oil Corp website. Similarly, in Mumbai, petrol and diesel are retailing for Rs 80.65 a litre and Rs 69.27 per litre respectively, no change in prices against Monday’s rates.
