Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today said that pregnant mothers and people above 60 years will get priority in COVID-19 vaccine distribution along with health workers.
While the testing of different COVID-19 vaccines have reached its final stage, the hope for mass vaccinations has aroused among the people. The database of critically ill patients will be helpful for this, the Chief Minister said and laid emphasis on the preparing occupational, scientific and full-proof plan for vulnerable sections of the society.
During a review meeting on COVID-19 Management, the Odisha CM said that using masks is the best possible method of prevention from Coronavirus infection. Patnaik further urged to follow social distancing and hand sanitisation along with using masks.
Keeping in view the second wave of COVID infection in America, Western European Countries and New Delhi, the Odisha CM said that we should continue to be more aware.
