Patrapada bombing: Prime accused held, two aides on run
Bhubaneswar: Mancheswar Police on Sunday nabbed Babu Nayak, prime accused in Patrapada bombing case, while two others managed to give a slip.
Acting on a tip-off about the movement of the accused in the locality, police rushed to the spot and apprehended him. However, two others aides of Nayak managed to escape from the spot.
Reportedly, Nayak is in police custody for further interrogation into the matter. Meanwhile, police have launched a manhunt to nab the two others, who are at large.
According to sources, Nayak along with his two associates had hurled bomb on one’s house in Patrapada area in the outskirts of the city.
The whole incident was captured on CCTV installed in front of the house. Based on the footage from CCTV, police identified the accused and was on a search since then.
