Dhenkanal: A patient allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of the district headquarters hospital (DHH) in Dhenkanal.
The deceased has been identified as Duryodhan Nayak.
According to reports, Nayak was admitted to Dhenkanal Headquarters Hospital on Wednesday after complaining of dizziness. However, he ended his life by jumping off the fourth floor of the hospital.
Though the exact reason behind the extreme step of the youth is yet to be ascertained, the family of the deceased has alleged that medical negligence might have prompted him to end his life.
Meanwhile, police have started a probe into the incident.
