Bhubaneswar: A patient died after jumping from the fifth floor of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Mahendra Swain, a resident of Puri district.
According to reports, Swain was admitted to the surgery ward, which is on the fifth floor of the premier hospital. He allegedly jumped off the window of the ward.
However, the reason behind Swain’s suicide is not known.
