Parliamentary panel reviews use of Hindi in Central offices

Bhubaneswar: The Parliamentary Committee’s second subcommittee on national language has been reviewing the use of Hindi in different Central government agencies.

The review was done for three days here in Odisha’s capital Bhubaneswar. In the first two days, the review was done by MP Bhartuhari Mahtab and the last day’s review was done by Rita Bahuguna Joshi on Wednesday.

The review meetings took note of the usage of Hindi language in Energy Efficiency Services Limited, NTPC, IEC limited, Wapscos Ltd, National Water Development Agency and other wings of the Central government here.

In the last day on Wednesday,  the review was conducted in Software Technology Park, Doordarshan Kendra, CSIIR-IMMT, Airport Director’s office, Air India Ltd and FCI’s regional office in Bhubaneswar.
