Paris Hilton has expressed her deep sorrow after witnessing her Malibu home burn to the ground in the devastating Palisades Fire. The reality star and entrepreneur shared her heartbreak on social media, describing the experience as “beyond words.”
The Palisades Fire, one of several wildfires currently raging across Los Angeles County, has claimed the lives of five people and forced over 100,000 residents to evacuate. Hilton’s home, where she and her husband Carter Reum had built many cherished memories with their children, was among the properties destroyed.
“Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burn to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience,” Hilton wrote. She expressed gratitude that her family and pets are safe, but acknowledged the overwhelming loss. “My heart and prayers are going out to every family affected by these fires,” she added.
The fires, driven by strong Santa Ana winds, have wreaked havoc across the region, destroying homes and causing widespread power outages. Firefighters are working tirelessly to contain the blazes, but the challenging conditions continue to hamper their efforts.
Hilton also extended her thanks to the brave firefighters and first responders risking their lives to protect residents. “Sending so much love and strength to all of you,” she wrote. “We’re in this together, LA. Hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight. You never know when everything could change”.
The Palisades Fire has also affected other celebrities, including Mark Hamill and Anthony Hopkins, who have lost their homes in the blaze. The community is rallying together to support those displaced by the fires, with many offering shelter and assistance to those in need.
