New Delhi: The Pakistan Army has been increasing the number of troops deployed at the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir besides enhancing its firepower.
Nearly 2,000 personnel of Pakistan’s special operations wing – Special Service Group (SSG) have been deployed on the Line of Control. According to reports, 90,000 Pakistani troops are already deployed on the Line of Control against the 1,13,000 Indian Army personnel.
The reports said artillery guns have been placed close to the LoC in a bid to carry out continuous shelling on the Indian side.
Pakistan has been targeting civilian areas along the Line of Control and indulging in heavy artillery firing.
