Islamabad: Pakistan has successfully conducted Ghaznavi ballistic missile. It is a surface-to-surface ballistic missile with a striking range of 290 km.
It is capable of delivering warheads, Inter-Services Public Relations in a statement said.
Pakistan Army’s strategic forces conducted the test days after India test-fired the submarine-launched K-4 ballistic missile.
The training launch was witnessed by senior military and civil officials. Last year, the Pakistan Army had successfully carried out night training launch of the Ghaznavi surface-to-surface ballistic missile.
The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) said India possesses 130 to 140 nuclear warheads while Pakistan has 140 to 150 warheads.
