Pak PM meets Khalistan separatist before Kartarpur talks

New Delhi: Pakistan premier Imran Khan has met Khalistan separatist Gopal Singh Chawla ahead of first India-Pakistan meet on Kartarpur corridor talks.

Chawla is known for spewing venom against India. He has been talking about dividing the country.

The Khalistan separatist is the General Sectary of Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (PSGPC).

He had called on Congress MP Navjot Singh Sidhu when the latter was on a visit to Pakistan to attend Kartarpur corridor groundbreaking ceremony last year in November.

Chawla is also known as the aide of global terrorist Hafiz Saeed.

India and Pakistan will hold their first meeting to finalize the modalities, three months after the two countries agreed on the project.

New Delhi has already made it clear to Islamabad that it should ensure that no propaganda by Khalistani separatists is allowed at the pilgrimage site.
