Keonjhar: A woman was killed while her husband was injured after a paddy container fell on them at Bahiyabaradanda village under Anandapur police station in Keonjhar district.

The deceased was identified as Jina Ho (32) wife of Magua Ho.

According to sources, the incident took place at around midnight while the couple was asleep when the paddy container, made of concrete, fell on them. Family members with the help of neighbours rescued the couple immediately and rushed them to the nearby hospital, where the doctor declared the woman to be ‘brought dead’.

Meanwhile, the health condition of the deceased’s husband is stated to be critical.
