Bolangir: Bangomunda police rescued 25 labourers including 11 women and six children from Bangomunda Golei Chakk in Bolangir district on Wednesday.
Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a raid while the labourers were headed to Kantabanji railway station in three vehicles and rescued the workers from Nuapada and Kalahandi. The cops have also detained one person in this connection.
There are eight men, eleven women and six children among the rescued labourers.
