Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) informed that over 22 lakh vaccine doses have been administered in Odisha capital till 9 PM of September 5.
A total of 22,01,761 doses of Covaxin were administered in Bhubaneswar. Meanwhile, 12,27,542 have received the first dose and 9,74,219 have received the second dose.
At least 36,090 Health Care Workers have received the first dose, 32,614 have received the second dose. Besides, 56,325 Front Line Workers have received the first dose and 49,421 have received the second dose.
On the other hand, between 18-44 years age group, 7,00,437 have received the first dose and 5,32,913 have received the second dose. Among the people between the 45-59 age group, 2,88,778 have received the first dose and 2,37,653 have received the second dose.
In the senior citizens category i.e. 60 years and above age group, 1,45,912 have received the first dose and 1,21,618 have received the second dose.
