Balasore: Over 2500 sacks of paddy worth lakhs of rupees reduced to ashes after a major fire broke out at a godown in Balasore district.
As per reports, the fire broke out in the paddy heap late last night. Locals spotted the blaze and informed fire brigade who rushed to the spot and doused the flames.
However, by the time the firefighter brought the fire under control, it had already engulfed the entire paddy stacks.
The exact reason behind the fire mishap is yet to be ascertained.
