OSEPA Holds Consultative Meeting on formation of Special Project Management Unit & Transformation for Aspiration Incubator

Bhubaneswar: A consultative meeting on the formation of Special Project Management Unit & Transformation for Aspiration Incubator under 5T High School Transformation Programme, Task Force – B was held at Odisha School Education Programe Authority, Bhubaneswar.

The meeting was chaired by State Project Director, OSEPA, Shri Anupam Shah. The dignitaries from OSEPA, Additional District Education Officers from several districts and representatives of the external partners associated with the 5T programme had participated in the meeting. The external partners present in the meeting were SCERT, NCERT, Gram Tarang, Transform School, Land-A-Hand, Boston Consulting Group, UNICEF, Piramal Foundation, Education Specialist, Consultant to the Principal Advisor (Education) and PHDMA.

The purpose of the meeting was to revisit the vision of 5T High School Transformation Programme as per current need of the hour, discuss the wins & progress of the programme, to understand the foundation of Transformation 4 Aspiration Incubator (T4A Incubator) and inputs from the external partners & educational experts towards smooth functioning of the programme in future.

The Task Force –B under 5T HST programme shared the update on progress and plan of action of different verticals assigned to them. They primarily highlighted the progress on Assessment Reforms & Aspirational Components. Followed by them, the representatives of external partners shared the update on current status, challenges, future plan of their respective work and contribution towards the formation of SPMU.

The concept of Incubator was introduced in brief. The idea and need of an Incubator with respect to 5T HST Programme was explained in detail. Roles & responsibilities of T4A Incubator and expected outcomes from them were discussed in detail. The participants shared their individual views & strategies towards achieving the expected outcomes.

Towards the end of the meeting, a brain storming session happened in which every participant shared their perspective, suggestions, ideas towards the assigned themes for the session. The entire agenda of the session was to come up with realistic approaches to make 5T High School Transformation Programme a success in the state.

The entire meeting emphasized on Vocational Education under 5T High School Transformation Programme & successful formation of the SPMU.
