Oppo Watch Free Launched With Over 100 Sports Modes: Check Specs

New Delhi: Oppo Watch Free has been launched in China alongside the Oppo K9 Pro 5G smartphone. It can generate sleep reports and can record the user’s snoring while they sleep. It also supports NFC-based payments as well, which would make it one of the few smartwatches to support payments in India, if it makes it here that is.

Oppo Watch Free price and availability

The Oppo Watch Free is yet to come to India but has been launched in China at the moment. It is available in Black and Gold colours and is priced at 549 Yuan (approximately Rs. 5500). It will go on sale in China from September 30 onwards.

Oppo Watch Free specs and features

As mentioned before, the Oppo Watch Free has a 1.64-inch 2.5D AMOLED display, along with support for Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Other than the heart rate, blood oxygen, and sleep monitoring features, the company also claims that the device’s 230mAh battery will provide 14-day battery life and support for fast charging. The Oppo Watch Free will apparently provide a full day’s battery life with 5 minutes of charging.

It also has a six-axis motion sensor, an ambient light sensor, and over 100 sports modes, with automatic tracking for six of them. This includes running, walking, swimming, outdoor cycling, elliptical machines, and rowing machines. It will run with all devices that have Android 6.0 or above and iOS 10.0 and above.
