Bolangir: One person was killed while three others sustained critical injuries in a road mishap at Khatamakhan under Puintala police limits in Balangir district.
The deceased has been identified as Makaru Bhoi of Gopalpur village under Loisingha block.
As per reports, the incident took place while Makaru along with Gajendra was heading towards his home on a motorcycle when they collided head-on with another motorcycle.
While Makaru died on the spot three others sustained critical injuries due to the impact of the mishap.
The injured persons were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital
On being informed, police reached the spot and recovered the body for post-mortem. Further investigation is underway into the matter, sources said.
