Bhawanipatna: A person was killed while several others sustained critical injuries after a vehicle carrying DJ equipment overturned during a procession near Bandakutra in Junagarh block of Kalahandi district late Friday night.
The deceased has been identified as Prafulla Bag of Nuapada district.
According to reports, the incident occurred while Maa Melody Band Party of Junagarh had gone to Golamunda last night for a marriage procession. When the driver of the vehicle lost control over the wheels and the vehicle turned turtle.
Reportedly, all the injured are presently undergoing treatment at the District Headquarters Hospital in Bhawanipatna.
