Rayagada: A person was killed while another person sustained critical injuries in a road accident near Rapukona square in Rayagada.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained and the critically injured person is identified as Sidhant Mohapatra, a junior farmer officer.
According to reports, the incident occurred while both riders collided head-on. Subsequently, one was killed on the spot and Sidhnat was critically injured.
The injured person was immediately rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) for treatment.
On being informed, police reached the spot and seized the body for post-mortem.
