Boudh: The Boudh police have apprehended one of the absconding accused for his alleged complicity in the Boudh murder case. The arrested accused has been identified as Prashant Jani.
Acting on a tip-off, a team led by Subhash Chandra Raiguru conducted a raid and arrested Prashant from Bramhanipalli village. However, another accused is yet to be arrested.
The arrested accused has been forwarded to court, police said.
A case has been registered and further investigation to nab other accused person is underway, he added.
Notably, Santosh was killed by his two elder brothers Sartik Jani and Prasant Jani over a family dispute and burnt at farmland at Malikpada village under Baunsuni police limits in the district on Sunday.
