Bhubaneswar: The first COVID-19 positive patient in Odisha has recovered completely and tested negative for the deadly virus.
He was undergoing treatment at Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar and discharged from hospital on Friday.
This was informed by the state Health and Family Welfare department.

Following the recovery of the person, they count of COVID-19 case reduced to three in the state.
He became the second COVID-19 patient in the state to recover and get discharged from the hospital, while three others are undergoing treatment in different medical facilities.
The 33-year-old patient who reached Delhi from Italy on March 6 and travelled to Bhubaneswar by train on March 12.
The man consulted a doctor on March 13, complaining of fever and headache, and was admitted to the hospital’s isolation ward the next day.
