Bhubaneswar: The special task force (STF) team of the Crime Branch has visited Mumbai for investigation regarding the fake medicine racket of Odisha.
Earlier, Mumbai Police have arrested Sudeep Mukherjee, chief of Max Relief Health Care for allegedly supplying fake medicines. Reportedly, the STF team from Odisha has moved to Mumbai to interrogate Mukherjee.
According to available information, the accused used to supply fake medicine through Swagat Enterprises in several states in Odisha.
Notably, a huge amount of fake medicines worth lakhs of rupees were seized recently from different districts of Odisha including Cuttack and Jharsuguda.
