Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Covid-19 tally on Tuesday rose to 3,24,389 with 300 new cases. Meanwhile, the death toll mounted to 1,815 as four more patients succumbed to the disease, a health department official said.
“Regret to inform the demise of four numbers of Covid positive patients while under treatment in hospitals,” the Health and Family Welfare Department said on Twitter.
Angul recorded 44 cases followed by 36 in Khurda district and 34 in Sundargarh district. Of the fresh cases, 174 were detected in quarantine centres, while 126 people tested positive for the infection during contact tracing, the data showed.
Odisha has 3,063 active cases at present, while 3,19,458 patients have recovered from the disease so far.
