Odisha’s COVID Tally Rises To 3,23,757 With 393 Fresh Cases

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has reported 393 fresh Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours. The total caseload now stands at 3,23,757, the government data showed.

As per the latest update, the state has now 3214 active cases. While 228 cases were reported quarantine centres, 165 are local contacts.

Angul reported the highest of 47 cases followed by Sundargarh (44 cases) and Khurda (39 cases).

A total of 405 persons have recovered from the deadly infection in the state in the past 24 hours. With this, the recovered cases now surged to 3,18,683.

On the other hand, the state’s death toll has mounted to 1803 with five fresh deaths. The fresh fatalities were reported from Bhubaneswar, Khurda, Mayurbhanj and Sundargarh.

1.A 59-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

2.A 64-year-old male of Khordha district who was also suffering from Bilateral Cellulitis of leg & Diabetes Mellitus.

3.A 58-year-old male of Mayurbhanj district who was also suffering from Cerebrovascular accident & Hypertension.

4.A 68-year-old male of Mayurbhanj district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

5.A 59-year-old male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Sjogren’s Syndrome.
