Odisha: Two fresh Omicron detected to be minors

Bhubaneswar: The two infected persons are- 11 and 15 year-old-girls. They had returned from Nigeria with their parents on December 13 and their health condition is stable, informed Niranjan Mishra, Director of Public Health. Two more cases of Omicron variant of Covid-19 have been detected in Odisha, said sources on Thursday.

Both of them are undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.

Earlier on December 21, the first two cases of Omicron had been reported in the State. Both of them were returnees from Nigeria and Qatar.
