Bhubaneswar: Odisha will receive another consignment of COVID-19 vaccine ‘Covaxin’ within a week which will be used in Bhubaneswar only.
This was informed by the State Vaccine In-charge and Health and Family Welfare Director Bijay Panigrahi here today.
The consignment will consist of 1,49,760 doses of the indigenous vaccine, Panigrahi added
Bhubaneswar on Thursday notched up an impressive rate of 186 per cent vaccination as against a rate of 118 per cent on Wednesday. A total of 1,113 had taken the jab yesterday,” he added.
Total, 1,13,623 people have been given the first dose of Covaxin and Covishield vaccines, the official added.
