Bhubaneswar: Health Director Bijay Panigrahi on Thursday informed that the State Government will soon issue Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the third phase vaccination in which people between the age group of 18 and 45 will be vaccinated across the State.
Talking to medai persons, Panigrahi said on Thursday that people between the age group of 18 and 45 will be vaccinated across the State from May 1.
More session sites will be set up for the fresh exercise. The State government will soon come up with new SOPs for the drive, said Panigrahi.
Meanwhile, Odisha today reported over 6,000 fresh COVID cases in last 24 hours. While 3575 cases have been detected from quarantine, 2589 infections are local contacts, official data said.
With the fresh 6164 cases, the cumulative tally in the State reached 3,88,479.
