Bhubaneswar: Sonepur recorded the coldest place in the state with a temperature of below 8 degree Celsius on Wednesday morning.
Cold wave intensifies across Odisha as the minimum temperature settled below 10 degree Celsius in many parts of the state.
According to Bhubaneswar Met, Sonepur stood at 7.4 degree Celsius, the lowest temperature, followed by Daringbadi (9 degree Celsius), Titlagarh (9.1 degree Celsius) and Angul (9.6 degree Celsius).
Besides, the Met has also predicted dense foggy weather for several parts for the next 3-4 days.
The IMD had earlier informed that after the rainfall activities become moderate, cold wave and winter conditions in the state will intensify.
